  1. Hi I am sorry to hear that, I can’t tell you where to go as I don’t live in America but I do know that most Cancers behave just like fungus in wood, these grow undetected and silently through the wood, then the grow tumour like growths in the wood and then destroy the wood just like Cancer I have often thought that Cancer might be controlled by some of the anti fungus drugs that are out now. Its worth a try as they are not very expensive and almost no side effects with them.

  2. I am sorry that you are suffering from cancer. One of the best resources is the Cancer Center of America. See their website below . To talk to someone about your condition click on the “contact us” box. You can telephone them, chat on-line or use email. Three of my close relatives had cancer so I have some idea what you are going through. My sister, father and grandmother all had different forms of cancer. My sister had ovarian cancer last year and after an operation and a six months course of chemotherapy she is cancer free. My grandmother died from liver cancer in 63 years ago. My father died from mesotheiloma (a type of lung cancer) 30 years ago. Treatment has come a long way since then. If they cannot help you directly the cancer center may be able to refer you to a treatment clinic in your area. Best of luck to you.

Memorial Sloan Kettering is an excellent facility. However, you should know there isn’t a “best a hospital” all hospitals in the US operate under the same standard of care and there isn’t one that knows of a special treatment the others are unaware of. Physicians in Italy should have the same information. I work for various hospitals in Los Angeles County some are world renowned and others are less known community hospitals and there is excellent care at both. Medical care is also very expensive here you could easily see a $400,000 bill.

You should also know you do not have liver cancer, you have breast cancer. There are many variables to treating metastatic breast cancer and this disease does not require a special hospital. I have seen many patients who have come here from all over the world for part of their treatment and/or consultations for various types of cancer and they take the information back home and continue their care there, you may want to consider this.

Ironically if you were to come here one of the hospitals I would recommend to you is a small community hospital located in San Pedro, California. There is a doctor there, Mirko Giaconi who has patients who live In Italy and come all the way here to see him. He also speaks Italian, as does Dr. Crescenzo Pisano and the chief of oncology is Anthony Giorgio. Dr. Giorgio used to teach at UCLA he is an excellent physician and one of my favorite oncologists.

  4. The best in the East is Sloan-Kettering in NY. Another is the Cancer Center of America. For children is St. Judes but they could also refer you to on in the middle of the country.Since you seem to know Sloan- Kettering I think you may be in the East so go there. They’re great & I’ve dealt with their patients for years & they deserve their good reputation. Good luck.
